The Race is Not to the Swift

Ecclesiastes 9:11 - I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Brethren, Joseph’s coat of many colors did not prevent him from suffering in the pit and being sold into slavery. The fact that Jacob loved Rachel more than her sister, Leah, did not prevent her from being barren. You may have a hundred degrees, Ph.Ds, and Doctorates; that does NOT guarantee you the job that you deserve. Some employers may tell you that they can’t afford you because you are over qualified. While I’ve seen people in high positions that have no qualifications whatsoever! Brethren, the race is not to the swift!
