  Are you a vessel of honour?

TEXT: 2Timothy 2:20-21[But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver but also of wood and of earth and some to honour and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and meet for the Master's use and prepared unto every good work].

In most houses, there are certain items of value , things we cherish so much. It could even be our phones, sofa, tv set. They could be important because of how valuable or expensive they are. We do our best to take utmost care of this item. This is synonymous with what happens in eternity

Our existence and actions on earth determines how valuable we will be for the Master use. The things we cherish so much now are limited to time. We should realize that eternity is forever. We should set our priorities right.

The Bible says in 2Timothy 2:20 that there are vessels of gold, silver, wood and of earth. some  vessels to honor and some to dishonour. You have to decide the kind of vessel you want to be.

The Bible says in 2Timothy2:22 that we should flee from youthful lust, but follow righteousness, faith, charity and peace. 

Let the Holy Spirit direct and lead us into living a fulfilled life.
